Niall Mellon Township TrustWhile the charity trains and employs local township people to build houses all year long, over 1,000 Irish (and friends) head out to Capetown for approximatly 10 days in November each year to lend a hand in the form of a "Building Blitz" and help build new homes for the Townships.
Joe has been out with NMTT to Cape Town 5 times.
Paddy has been out with NMTT to Cape Town 4 times.
The location of this year’s (November 2011) Charity Blitz is the Township of Witsand, located near the town of Atlantis, approximately 50 km from Cape Town.
Your support, by taking part in this Rugby World Cup Competition, will help Joe and Patrick with their fund raising to go on this Blitz.
If you are interested in more information or feedback on what it is like being part of this Charity Blitz in the South African Townships, please don't hesitate to give either us a shout for our experiences.
