Rugby World Cup Prediction League 2011
STEP- BY - STEP : WHAT YOU ENTER AT EACH ROUND:
First Round : For Each Group Stage Match
1st - Enter The Outcome of the Match - Win Lose or Draw - as you Predict it to be.
2nd - Enter your Prediction on the Number of TRIES scored for each Team
(Note your Prediction can have the losing team score more Tries and still lose)
3rd - Enter your Prediction on the Final Match Score Difference between the teams.
Example if you think score will be 24 to 10, the score difference is 14.
Remember - always enter a whole number, not a minus figure.
Enter these 3 criteria for each of the 40 Group Stage Matches as you Predict them to be.
As you enter your Predictions, The Group Tables automatically change
to reflect your particular Match Outcome and Try Predictions.
On the bottom the Spreedsheet
The Total number of Tries You have Predicted in this Stage is Recorded.
Group Orders
When all entries for all 40 Group Stage Matches have been entered by you.
The Outcome of Each Group is determined based on your Match Predictions as follows.
First by Points Scored then by Try Score Difference, Then Tries For.
As this is slightly different to the "Official" Group Order Criteria
(That uses the actual points scored in the Matches 1st - where not required to Predict in this Competition)
So Review your Final Group Order and be saatisfied with all Positions.
If not, adjust Match Try scores to give your prefered final Group Order.
Second Round - Quarter Finals to The Finals
The "Last 8" Teams are now placed based on your Predictions so far.
These are now your "Predicted Matches" and these Fixtures may not actually occur.
Hence from this Round onwards, the Try / Match Score does no award you Points.
You need only Nominate which Country you predict will Win and progress to the Next Round.
To do this just - Input "Win" or "Lose" in the 1st cell indicated.
